Police: Caldwell man facing more than a dozen felonies after RV parts arrest

MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — A 29-year-old Caldwell man is facing numerous felonies after police say he was stealing RV parts.
Meridian Police says it began receiving multiple reports of RV part thefts back in October near Ten Mile and Ustick. Officers were later told of a suspicious vehicle driving on an access road to a storage facility in Meridian in early November.
When they talked to the driver, police say Brian Robertson dropped some drug paraphernalia onto the ground and they also found several stolen items inside the vehicle.
Police say Robertson had two storage units that had been targeted by thefts. After getting a search warrant, police say they found about $24,000 worth of stolen property inside his storage units -- some of it reported stolen in 2016.
He's now being held at the Ada County Jail and is facing five counts of felony burglary, five counts of felony grand theft, three counts of felony malicious injury to property, a single county of felony possession of a controlled substance along with two misdemeanors.
