Healer Mage Raid Consumables

The following list of consumables can be brought by Heal Mages Mages to Blackfathom Deeps.

It is not always necessary to use it all. Depending on your raid composition and gear some consumables might not be needed anymore.

Heal Mage Pre-Raid BiS in Season of Discovery

The Pre-Raid BiS List contains the best items you can get as a healing Mage Mage, outside of the raid “Blackfathom Deeps”. The BiS list is optimized for phase 1 of Season of Discovery.

* Since a Hotfix on December 14th, wands with arcane damage will contribute to healing. This makes wands with arcane damage BiS.

SoD BiS List for Heal Mages

The following Heal Mage Mage BiS List contains the best items you can get in phase 1 of Season of Discovery. You need to get loot from the 10-man raid “Blackfathom Deeps and do PvP to get the very best items in the game.

* For Shifting Scale Talisman Shifting Scale Talisman you need to have Tailoring, Leatherworking, or Blacksmithing with at least 100 points into it. The quest starts at N'ora Anyheart in Ratchet.

SoD Phase 2 Heal Mage Pre-BiS List

The following Heal Mage Mage BiS List contains the best items you can get in phase 2 of Season of Discovery before entering the raid Gnomeregan with level 40.

* Dreamweave Gloves Dreamweave Gloves requires Wildvine Wildvine as a crafting reagent. Wildvine Wildvine will be hard to find in phase 2 or might even be unobtainable.

Using the suffix “of the Owl” (instead of “of Arcane Wrath“) could be strong, too. Especially at the beginning of the raid tier, when everyone has suboptimal gear.

Heal Mage Stat Priority

As a Heal Mage Mage you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:

  • Spell Hit Chance (up to 6% against enemies 2 levels above you like raid bosses in BFD)
  • Spell Critical Hit
  • Spell Damage = Arcane Damage
  • Intellect

    • After having 6% hit chance when fighting against bosses in Blackfathom Deeps, Spell Hit Chance loses its value and other stats become better. You’ll reach already 5% with Blackfathom Mana Oil Blackfathom Mana Oil and Boon of Blackfathom Boon of Blackfathom. If you run out of mana, Intellect is worth more than Spell Damage or Arcane Damage.
